Why does the Google listing matter more than the website?

When someone in town googles your trade, they are usually on Maps, not typing your URL. The shop with photos, hours, and reviews gets the call. Presence Pack is that listing. A website is a different job.

What if I never claimed it, or someone else did?

That is the job. Joe claims a new profile, requests access to one that already exists, or fixes a duplicate or half-finished listing. You stay the legal owner. If someone else is sitting on it, he will tell you on the call what it takes to get it back.

Do I give you my Google password?

No. You send a manager invite from the Google Business app or business.google.com. Two minutes. Joe never takes the password and never becomes the owner.

Why the shop is missing

Google is not hiding you for fun. These are the usual reasons.

Never claimed, or never verified

An unclaimed listing, a duplicate, or a profile stuck waiting for approval is not a listing. Google will not put an unverified profile in the top three on Maps. Joe claims it or requests access, then walks verification with you. The official steps live on Google Help. This page is the offer, not a 9pm tutorial.

Wrong category, then nobody touched it
